Welcome to Israel!
On Saturday, March 29 we left Bozeman for Tel Aviv and had an 8-hour layover in New York City. In spite of steady rain, most of us took the subway into the city for a few hours.
At 11:49 p.m our Delta nonstop departed for Tel Aviv, where we arrived 5:10 p.m. Sunday. Our host for the next two weeks, Glenn Witmer of MennoJerusalem, met us and took us to our home for the first six nights, Tantur Ecumenical Centre, high on a hill right between Jerusalem and Bethlehem!
They welcomed us with a good dinner, and we were off to bed.
